Behavior Problems

In order to solve canine behavior problems you need to know the answer to several questions.  First, what is causing the dog's behavior?  The answer to that question is found in the behavior history which is taken at the first session.  Next, what exactly do you want to accomplish with the training?  You need specific goal to that I can help you attain them.  Finally, how do we accomplish your goals?  You will receive a step-by-step plan that specifies exactly what to do to change your dog's behavior.

At the first session, we will work on specific behavior training routines.  We will also discuss how to manage your dog and prevent problem behavior immediately so that your dog's behavior improves quickly.  Between sessions, you will call me with updates on your dog's progress.  We will adjust the training if necessary.  Finally, we will test your dog's training with setups in public and in your home.

Separation anxiety, destructive chewing, leash pulling, jumping up, housesoiling, not listening, lunging, barking, mouthing, nipping, cat chasing, and shyness are all solvable behavior problems.  Please go to the aggression section for more information about that behavior problem.
